Exhibition Showcases New Chicago Fine Art Within Vintage Environs

A massive exhibition of original artwork from 30 of Chicago’s leading fine artists has landed in Chicago's McKinley Park neighborhood.

Spread across three floors of wide-open lofts in the historic Central Manufacturing District building, the exhibition presents breathtaking installations curated by Kimberley Oliva of Oliva Gallery and Gosia Korsakowski of Architectural Anarchy. They want to connect buyers to the best artists of Chicago, they said.

“This exhibition is essential because it shows that artists are still working: They are creating new work,” Oliva said. “Many of the pieces in this exhibition were created in various stages of the pandemic.”

Motivation to produce the exhibition came from wanting to host artwork too large to fit in her Logan Square neighborhood gallery, Oliva said.
